Technical Assistance for the institutional strengthening of the National Council for the Fight against Illicit Drugs (CONALTID)

Overall objective:

The general objectives of the programme is to building a legal and institutional framework to respond to the mandates of the State Constitution and Bolivian public policy concerning coca and controlled substances and to contribute to the fight against drug production, trafficking and use of drugs, in a climate of peace, cooperation, democratic participation and full respect of human rights, while promoting sustainable integrated development of farming communities of coca leaf.

 

Specific objective
The specific objectives of the present project is to provide technical assistance in order to strengthen the CONALTID to lead the implementation and monitoring of the National Strategy for the fight against drug trafficking (ELNyRHC), communication, compliance with international commitments and consistency in the fight against drug trafficking, and to provide comprehensive advice to the CONALTID, in order to strengthen its institutional, administrative and technical capabilities.
