Financial management and control services

General objective of the project: providing specialized support necessary for increasing the efficiency of the administrative process of verification and on spot verification for the projects financed under POS IEC, contributing to the implementation and effective absorption of funds allocated through POS IEC.

 

Project purpose / Specific objective of project:

*    Purchase of financial management and control services for the proper fulfillment of the tasks incumbent to the management authority and for supporting the activity of administrative verification and on-site control for the projects funded through POS IEC;

*    Improving the administrative capacity of the MA POS IEC by supporting the work of the Financial Management and Control Service, both with qualified personnel, in order to provide the needed expertise for supporting the activity of administrative verification and to complete the verification teams responsible for checking on-site, and with the related logistics in order to ensure the quality checks that are carried out;

*    Periodic monitoring of projects progress in accordance with national and european regulations and with the implementation schedule, reality, legality and regularity of expenditures incurred in implementing the project with the regulations stated in the grant application.
