Development of schemes for regional development programmes

The B&S Consortium has been selected in order to provide institutional capacity building services to the Regional Policies and Programming Directorate and Regional Development Agencies in effectively managing EU funds in Regional Policy and the Coordination of Structural Instruments after accession.

 

Within the framework of institutional capacity building, following services were provided for the Regional Policies and Programming Directorate and RDAs:

 

  • Review of regional development documents, strategies and action plans including human resource, employment and vocational aspects

  • Development of Cost Benchmarks mechanisms for the Directorate and RDAs to use in relation to future projects

  • Setting up consultation process for detailing activities under ROP’s priorities and types of interventions

  • Assistance in setting up the preparatory phases of the Regional Operational Programme (ROP)

      2.    Improving the capacity of the Directorate and RDAs to carry out support studies to inform ROP

·          Developing analytical capacity of the Directorate and RDAs to inform ROP through support methodological studies

  • Strengthening the capacity through providing training on techniques of undertaking a research study of the business environment (business support structures, SMEs and their networks, human resources, vocational training data)

  • Tourism potential of the region and niche market segments for the ROP of Romania
