Public Procurement Expert
  		• Qualifications: • General description of the position:
    - Public procurement expert with experience providing technical assistance in public procurement in developing countries with focus in policy development, strategic public procurement frameworks or development of procurement legislation

    • Qualifications and skills required:
    Master's degree preferably in law, economics, public administration, public finance management, public procurement.
    In the absence of degrees, equivalent professional experience in the sector, at least 3 years in addition to the general experience duration.

    • General professional experience:
    Minimum of 12 years of professional experience in Public procurement systems

    • Specific professional experience:
    Minimum of 5 years of experience providing technical assistance in public procurement in developing countries with focus in policy development, strategic public procurement frameworks or development of procurement legislation.
    (Please note that the requirement refer to support in procurement policy development, strategic procurement frameworks and procurement legislation.
    Direct management of public procurement will not be considered as relevant experience under this criterion. )
    -Experience in at least 1 project involving development of legislation regarding public procurement.

    • Language skills:
    Excellent writing and speaking skills in English.
    Strong reporting and writing abilities (Bidders are kindly asked to include a list of publications/final reports written by the expert under "other relevant information" of the CV)
