Pakistan : Focus Group Discussions on the EU funded access to justice in Punjab programme
The EU funded project “To conduct Study of the EU funded access to justice in Punjab programme (Ex-post Evaluation)” implemented by B&S Europe started in April 2019. The objective of this project is to provide comprehensive information to allow the European Commission to make an accurate assessment of the immediate and long-term impact of the EU funded interventions in Rule of Law in Punjab with a view to building on these achievements in the next action.
In the frame of this project, the experts' team carried out two Focus Group Discussions on the 17th and 18th of May in the cities of Bahawalpur and Muzzaffargarh, located in the province of Punjab.
During the Focus Group Discussions the experts' team met with different key stakeholders (staff from the different contracted NGOs, including project managers, community paralegals, and legal aid lawyers) as well as with community beneficiaries of the programme, a total of 40 participants. The expert team had the role of facilitators of both groups and they ensured an even participation in order to get first hand-empirical evidence for the ex-post evaluation of such programme.
