Nigeria: Information and Communication Technology training
ICT Capacity building plays a central role on economic development of governments. Through the implementation of the Technical Assistance to the EU-SUFEGOR (Support to Federal Governance Reform) Programme, we launched, last week, a 7-day training on ICT Capacity Building in joint collaboration with the Nigerian Ministry of Information and Culture.
Together, we host more than 200 participants from different government agencies, from the Budget Office, Head of Civil Service Reform, Ministry of Interior, National Bureau of Statistics to the Ministry of Information and Culture itself.
During two weeks, participants are expected to get empowered through skill acquisitions, in order to successfully perform their day to day tasks, collaborating to public service efficiency and accountability.
Five parallel sessions are taking place simultaneously, basic ICT Knowledge, E-Governance and Management, Programming Software and Hardware, Computer Application in Finance and Accounting and Web Design.
