Kick-off of our new GIZ-funded project in Kosovo “Support to European Integration Process”
Today we marked the kick-off of the new GIZ-funded project in Kosovo “Support to European Integration Process”. The project aims to support the Ministry of European Integration (MEI) in the planning and implementation of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA) based on SAA structures. More specifically the project will support MEI in implementing parts of SAA Communication Strategy by actively involving CSOs.
Public support for the accession process is critically important for Kosovo’s commitment to EU-inspired reforms to become a reality. Guiding the public through this reform process by providing objective, timely and evidence-based information is essential. As such the project will support Kosovo institutions to build a sustainable understanding among its citizens on all aspects of the European accession process, including the challenges and benefits as well as the obligations, to enable citizens to make informed choices and participate actively in shaping Kosovo’s European future.
The project is a 29-month project that will be implemented in close partnership with our local partners Kosovo Legal Service Company (KLSC).
